From the first moment we walked into the house, I knew this little move wasn't going to be a problem or an adjustment at all.
Although, we (but mostly me) are still trying to get adjusted to the weather. I didn't know it before but besides missing the color green in AZ landscaping, I could live happily ever after in the desert. I have become a rare breed of hermit crab since living here. Unless I am suiting up in snow pants, boots, and all (for some snow time play) I don't want to be outside. I hope it's just an adjustment I have been slow to make rather than a forever feeling I have towards winter now...
When we got here there was no snow on the ground, so the girls took the mini coop out for their first spin! Seryn especially loved it, not because it was blue or she loved to drive it, ONLY because the name of the car was "Mini= translation=Minnie."
Overall, the change to Idaho has been refreshing. It's WONDERFUL to be so close to family--both sides of the family for that matter. That was something we were definitely missing in AZ. The trips up north were seldom made which leaves us feeling extra grateful for this time right now.
For the first couple of weeks we were in Idaho, anytime we jumped into the car for errands, to church, or a road trip to the other grandparents, Sailor would panic and say, "wait, are we going back to our old house in AZ now??" We'd quickly respond with "no" and she'd say "good, I don't want to leave grandma and grandpa's house for a long, long time."

Glad your kids have adjusted so well to living in Idaho. That car is awesome!!!
